I have fallen in love with these jeans. Deeply in love. They
exude some stylish casualness that just compliments young and fashion conscious
gals’ bodies. They come in different styles the current hit being distressed
boyfriend jeans with cropped hems.
So how do I rock this ‘’relaxed chic in an instant’’ jeans?
I think it’s a style that most of us can do. If you are not
into crazy attire probably you can start with having simple distressed jeans that
show less skin.
Distressed jeans can be worn with tank tops that have minimal
details. They also look good with simple tees. For shoes you can wear flats or
maybe high heels slip ons. Just have the shoes simple too. If you choose to
have a fancy top with details, then you can go for distressed jeans that have minimal rips. Basically you wanna balance your outfit so as not to appear
too busy….you get what I mean.
It is also not a bad idea to throw in some accessories
though keep them simple. You can maybe have a simple bangle, loop earrings. The thumb rule is to be distressed yet simple and trendy. You also want to avoid a lot of
make up and have simple hair do’s. You can however carry a shoulder bag or a sling
bag and still look chic and trendy.
Distressed jeans are a bit too casual and laid back and so I
would advice not to go to a dressy occasion in them. I mean you want to avoid
going to church in them. You want to avoid going to ‘dress down’ Fridays at the
office in them. They can be for a lazy Sunday afternoon or Saturdays if you don’t
go to work on Saturdays. Or even for a dancy night out since they are
comfortable.
When buying distressed jeans, always note where the rips are located. For example you wanna avoid these jeans if the rips are at the knees
since when you bend, they might tear up or make the rip holes to widen up. For
plus size ladies, please have distressed jeans with less rips to avoid too much
skin popping out.
Basically my ideal distressed look is the distressed jeans
+high heel sleep ons + a white tank top and when cold I throw on a casual boyfriend
blazer. Of course plus some few jewellery.
