My Style ~ Black Blouse, Khaki Pants and Leopard Print Shoes…

I rarely see ladies in Khaki Pants to work. They are mostly worn by men. Anyway, I got one and I think it’s a fun piece to have in every lady’s wardrobe. I loooove the pockets…..hehe!!Okay I love all my official pants to have pockets. I tried these pants with various blouses but I think this Black blouse won the race. The thumb rule again, the blouse and the pants are both fitting. For the heels, I settled on Leopard Print. My other option for shoes was a Black pair but I figured out the Leopard Print has both the Black and the Khakish (kinda) colours. An amazing outfit for Monday…..

My Style ~ Red Tee with Prints and Blue Faded Jeans…

Saturday!!Yippee….!!It’s neither cold nor hot….!!The weather is beautiful. Today am wearing my Red Apple Bottoms’ tee and Blue Faded Jeans. Oh plus my ever ‘‘coming in handy’’ slip ons. It’s safe to say these golden slip ons need ‘’’sisters’’ * laughs*!! My accessories, well I decided to make it a royal day by going golden. Was a bit doubtful about the neck piece but…I decided to do studs for earrings and keep the neck piece. Initially, I wanted to do big golden loops and leave out the neck piece. Hope I am not too busy with the accessories.

My Style ~ Black Tank Top, Khaki Shorts and Golden Slip Ons…

I love shorts. Maybe because they compliment my legs. Black tank tops….well lets just say I don’t like them much. Anyway I decided to do Khaki Shorts and a Black tank top plus Slip Ons last Sunday afternoon.  didn't fail at all….I guess. Shorts are a great casual look for the weekend. I prefer my shorts with a White tank top but this time round I went out of the norm. With my height and a pair of shorts, heels are a must so the slip ons. Notice the golden slim belt. Nice, no? Yes.

10 Fashion Tips For Plus Size Men...

Am not really a professional when it comes to plus size men’s fashion. I however read this from somewhere and thought I should share with you and you…..We all know a dude who is plus size…No?Yes.

Here are 10 fashion tips for Plus Size men. Handsome comes in all shapes and sizes and here are some tips to flatter a larger body size and bring out your best features.

10. Choose clothes that fit your body comfortably, not too snugly. Sometimes people may be tempted to buy smaller sizes in hopes that it will pull in some extra weight or make them appear smaller. The opposite is true. Tight clothing makes you look bigger. Instead, opt for the right fit or something a little loose.

9. Coordinate colours  This is good advice for people of all body shapes. Although women are stereotyped as coordinating all aspects of their wear, the same is important for a man when creating an overall good look for himself.

8. When opting for casual wear, choose v-neck sweaters. A v-neck presents the illusion of a smaller neckline and is all around flattering.

7. Avoid bright colours and bold patterns. These aren't complimentary for those who have a few extra pounds of fat.

6. Go for lightweight fabrics when possible. Thick blazers and shirts aren't as flattering as those made with sleek, thin materials.

5. Dress to suit the occasion. Some plus size men avoid wearing summer wear and that simply draws attention to them. Instead, bring out short sleeves in the summer and don't be afraid of shorts. Solid colours are most flattering.

4. Try for a three button blazer. Although not as common or popular, it's especially flattering for the larger man. Choose vertical striped shirts for a more flattering look. Horizontal stripes should be avoided.

3. Wear longer hems when possible. This will elongate your body, giving you a more flattering look.

2. Look in magazines and catalogues of clothing for fat men. With the Internet, there's a never ending look at photo options. From the pictures of what you see, write down descriptions of the clothing that you think are most flattering to plus sizes. Your opinion is what matters the most, as you want to feel comfortable and confident with your clothing choices.

1. Always purchase your clothing from the professionals.

How to Wear That Chiffon Blouse…

The Chiffon Blouse trend is back with a bang. In fact I am yet to add more pieces to my wardrobe. They are sultry and I think that’s why I love them. Something naughty about them that I just can’t put my finger on*laughs*.

Chiffon Blouses can basically be worn in any occasion if done right. Whether to a wedding, to work, to church or even to the beach. They look amazing….just amazing. They can be tucked into official pants and skirts. A chiffon blouse for example, tucked into a high waist pencil skirt + high heel pumps looks chic and trendy. I also see ladies rocking them with skinny and cuffed jeans too. Not a bad idea.

Underneath a chiffon blouse you can wear a tank top, a bandeau or even your bra but just keep it black, nude colour or basically your skin colour. I see people wearing bright colours underneath the chiffon but this can be a bit tricky. Personally, I prefer just a black bandeau or a bra. It’s sexy like that...*wink*

For jewellery, just be careful not to look too busy. Choose jewellery depending on the color of the blouse. If the chiffon blouse has numerous colours, then you want to keep your jewellery simple.

Chiffon blouses on their own can come in handy during hot weather. However, with a coat over the chiffon during the cold weather, wouldn’t hurt at all. I however prefer not to cover my chiffon blouses so I would only wear them during hot weather.

Chiffon blouses are universal and classic. Plus they are yet to go out of style. Have them in your wardrobes ladies. Check out some of the chiffon inspirations I collected.

My Style ~ Multi-Coloured Stripped Shirt, Navy Blue Official Pants…

I am really not into official wear as such. At times I wish I could be working in those organizations where we dress down all through *laughs*. Anyway, since it’s 5-days a week affair, I don’t have a choice.….. So for now, I try to mix and match what I can and where I can.

Today I decided to make it a Multi-Coloured Stripped Shirt over Navy Blue Official Pants. I love official pants that have pockets as compared to the plain ones. I also prefer them as straight and fitting. For the shirts, I prefer the slim fit ones too. Plus they have to be cotton. Hope I haven’t failed the ‘Corporate wear’ fashionistas. Check out my today’s combination.

My Style ~ Polka Dot Chiffon Blouse, Black Skirt and Crimson Red Peep Toes…..

Today I decided to break the rules from my normal Monday dress code. I would normally be in a corporate Blue shirt and Dark Blue official pants. Mondays are always short. I don’t know why people hate them though. In fact, I prefer Mondays to Tuesdays. …..out of topic, I know. Anyway, I love looking good and being all bright for Mondays. I mean, to drive away all the Monday Blues. And so my Polka Dot Chiffon Blouse, my Black Skirt and Red Peep toes will do me some justice.....I think. Do I look laid back for the office on a Monday? I guess it’s more of a Friday’s look….but whatever makes me happy. Notice the Red lipstick and the Neck piece? Nice? Yes, No? Yes of course. Enjoy your week ahead y’all.

My Style ~ Green Coat, Black Wet Look Pants and a White Tank Top.............

I love Saturdays. Well.…. because I get to dress to impress and shop till I drop. Anyway, today you will either spot in one of the two outfits. First, a Green coat with Black wet-look pants and my England flag print heels. How I love these heels *smiles* This should be in the morning hours at the office and late in the night for a movie. The coat is basically to cover my tank top in the office since tank tops are not allowed where I work. Oh, plus to keep me warm at the movie theater. And of course it completes the whole look, or what do you think? During the day, for shopping that is and anything in between, am gonna loose the coat and expose my White Ed  Hardy tank top. Besides, I will loose the England flag print heels and change to some 2 inch slip on sandals, plus an LV shoulder bag. Of course both looks will include my chunky bangles and golden loops. It’s gonna be a lovely Saturday. Happy Days.
